The Broadway musical is semi-autobiographical, drawing inspiration from Keys’ own life growing up as an aspiring artist in Hell’s Kitchen and the community she built up in the New York neighborhood. Audiences can look forward to both original and classic songs from Keys in the show, including “Girl On Fire,” “Empire State of Mind” and a new song written for the musical called, “Kaleidoscope.”

When she meets her neighbor, a mentorship is formed and as Ali begins to learn about the power of the piano, her dreams begin to shift and evolve.
