Teyana Taylor Just Set the Record Straight on Those Leonardo Dicaprio Romance Rumors

Things have been heating up between Leonardo DiCaprio and a special someone — but Teyana Taylor, who is currently filming with DiCaprio for the upcoming Coming 2 America, had to address the rumors that she and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor are dating head-on after people saw a photo of Taylor adjusting DiCaprio’s hair on set. Leo, who has recently been linked to model Vittoria Ceretti, seems to never escape the spotlight or the rumor mill, particularly given his track record of dating significantly younger women. However, this hasn’t stopped the internet from buzzing about him and Taylor sharing a romantic connection.

The rumor mill went into overdrive when images and videos surfaced showing Taylor and DiCaprio in close proximity on several occasions. In a chat with E!’s The Rundown host Erin Lim Rhodes at the Revolve Festival on April 13, the multi-talented singer and actress shared her side of the story, clarifying the nature of her relationship with DiCaprio. “Leo wore extensions for the movie and they were hurting him,” explained Teyana. “I was literally helping him with his bun.”

She continued to shed light on the situation, revealing more about their interaction. “And if you’ve seen the end of the video, I said something about cornbread because my chef was cooking for the whole cast,” she said. “We gotta make sure his bun is right. We gotta make sure he’s eating good.”

Teyana didn’t stop there; she also praised Leo’s supportive nature. “He is like the best,” she raved. “He will cheerlead for you all the way through.”

Of all the wild celebrity dating rumors, it appears that this particular one can be put to rest. Despite the fervent speculation, it turns out the interaction was nothing more than a friendly gesture between colleagues. DiCaprio, known for his roles in critically acclaimed films and high-profile relationships, seems to be going steady with Ceretti, but in the case of Taylor, it seems the only connection is a professional and amiable one.
