Talk about a statement.
Crystal Kung Minkoff and her husband, Rob Minkoff, created their dream home from the ground up. "Rob and I actually built this home ourselves," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer shared in the exclusive Bravo Insider video above. "It was a total labor of love." When designing the house, Crystal and Rob put special thought into every single detail. "The house is about 9,000 square feet. The number 8 is really important to Chinese culture and I said, 'Let's try to get a house 8,888 square feet," Crystal said. "We were close, so I'm just going to stick with that number." Although she considers the elegant formal living room the "heart of the home," Crystal and her family spend "99 percent of the time" in their gorgeous kitchen. "I love to cook. I love to entertain," she explained. "All of my friends always come into this room." The exterior is also jaw-dropping. In addition to a backyard area featuring a beautiful pool, there is the "other outdoor space," which Crystal called the "fire pit area," as well as a separate "kids' yard." To see a full tour of Crystal's incredible house, including the "cozy" library, chic bedroom, and luxe bathroom, check out the video above! Princess Keisha of Nigeria told Insider that her former neighbors in Chelsea didn't think it was possible for Black people to be wealthy.
Shannon Keeler was enjoying a weekend getaway with her boyfriend last year when she checked her Facebook messages for the first time in ages. The messages rocketed Keeler back to the life-shattering night in December 2013 when an upperclassman at Gettysburg College stalked her at a party, snuck into her dorm and barged into her room while she pleaded with him and texted friends for help. Eight years later, she still hopes to persuade authorities in Pennsylvania to make an arrest, armed now with perhaps her strongest piece of evidence: his alleged confession, sent via social media.

A South Carolina school bus driver who kept his cool during an armed hijacking hailed all 18 children the real heroes of the high-pressure encounter. Kenneth Corbin spoke exclusively to "Good Morning America" Monday about how he was able to hold off the gunman and what the students said to the man that helped keep them safe for six minutes. "The kids were the ones that actually got the gentleman off of the bus and they pretty much had my back as much as my concerns were with them," Corbin explained.

Apple TV+Prince Harry’s son, Archie, is featured in the trailer for his new documentary with Oprah Winfrey. While it must be said at the outset that Archie is utterly adorable, the move to include Archie in the film could trigger a new round of criticism over the Sussexes’ perceived double standards when it comes to their privacy. The trailer for Harry’s new show, which is called The Me You Can’t See, was released Monday morning.Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Should Drop Their Titles, Royal Sources SayThe show itself, which is described as a multipart documentary, will hit screens via Apple TV+ on Friday. The dropping of the official trailer was announced on Harry and Meghan’s website, Archewell, which said it “offers a glimpse into the diverse stories of mental health and emotional well-being that will be highlighted in the new documentary series.”The show will see Harry and Oprah “join forces to guide honest discussions about mental health and emotional well-being while opening up about their personal journeys and struggles,” the website said.It added that the docuseries would feature “high-profile guests and everyday people—including singer, songwriter, and actress Lady Gaga, Syrian refugee Fawzi, DeMar DeRozan of the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, author and counselor Ambar, and many others—sharing their stories of living with the challenges of mental health issues and addressing their emotional well-being.”The trailer at one stage shows a tearful Oprah saying: “It’s just something I accepted.” Oprah has previously opened up about how she was raped as a child. There is a clear suggestion that Harry will talk in detail about his own traumatic childhood: In one clip he is shown looking emotional at the camera before it cuts to footage of him at the funeral of his mother, Princess Diana. There will likely be some trepidation at Buckingham Palace that Harry will use the film to renew his criticisms of his father, Prince Charles.Last week, speaking about Charles, he told a podcast: “He’s treating me the way that he was treated.” He also said: “There’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway. As parents we should be doing the most we can to try and say, ‘You know what, that happened to me, I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.’”It seems unlikely the new series will lead to any royal reconciliation. In another clip, Harry appears to be on a video call when he is joined by wife Meghan, who is wearing a T-shirt with the words “Raising The Future” emblazoned on it. (The shirt is by Mère Soeur, a “U.K. lifestyle brand that empowers women and celebrates sisterhood.”)Suggesting that the impact of the pandemic will be a key thread in the show, Harry is seen saying, “The results of this year will be felt for decades, for kids, families, husbands, wives…”The trailer then cuts to footage of Archie on Meghan’s knee. Archie is wearing a white baby suit, and Meghan is holding a large rectangular object which looks like a kid-proofed tablet (or perhaps a baby mirror). The inclusion of Archie in the trailer, and presumably the series itself, is likely to spark criticism of the couple for double standards when it comes to their family privacy, in much the same way that Archie’s appearance in a podcast they made for Spotify last year did.On that occasion, Archie was heard wishing listeners, “Happy New Year.”Read more at The Daily Beast.Got a tip? Microsoft’s board of directors moved to remove Bill Gates from its board in 2020 as it investigated the billionaire’s prior romantic relationship with an employee at the tech company, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal. Gates, however, stepped down on his own accord before the board was able to follow through with its plan, WSJ wrote.According to the Journal, members of the Microsoft board launched an investigation in 2019 after receiving a letter from an employee saying Gates sought to “initiate an intimate relationship” with her 19 years prior. Some members were concerned about the relationship in the wake of the #MeToo movement and felt it would not be appropriate for Gates to continue in a leadership role at Microsoft at a time when workplace harassment and misconduct were coming under unprecedented public scrutiny.Gates resigned from the company in March 2020, before the investigation was completed. “There was an affair almost 20 years ago which ended amicably,” a Gates spokesperson told WSJ. “[His] decision to transition off the board was in no way related to this matter. In fact, he had expressed an interest in spending more time on his philanthropy starting several years earlier.”The New York Times also reported on Sunday that Gates had “pursued” several women over the past 27 years, including one Microsoft employee who said Gates asked her to dinner in 2006 in an email in which he also wrote, “If this makes you uncomfortable, pretend it never happened.” Years later, another woman who worked for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said she was also asked out by Gates. Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates announced their divorce on May 3, agreeing to divide their $130 billion fortune while continuing to work together as co-chairs of their philanthropic foundation. The Times and WSJ reported the divorce was set in motion in October 2019, shortly after reports surfaced of Gates’ ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of underage sex trafficking and soliciting prostitution from a minor. It is unclear exactly how much French Gates knew about Gates’ connection to Epstein, and Gates’ representatives have vehemently denied that Epstein’s ties played a factor. “Your characterization of his meetings with Epstein and others about philanthropy is inaccurate, including who participated,” a spokesperson for Gates wrote to the Times. “Similarly, any claim that Gates spoke of his marriage or Melinda in a disparaging manner is false. The claim of mistreatment of employees is also false. The rumors and speculation surrounding Gates’s divorce are becoming increasingly absurd, and it’s unfortunate that people who have little to no knowledge of the situation are being characterized as ‘sources.'” Read original story Microsoft Board Pushed Out Bill Gates Over Affair With Staffer (Report) At TheWrap
She's only two years old, but Pilar Jhena McKinley (aka PJ) already has a go-to couturier. For her first Christmas photos in 2019, Porsha Williams' daughter served festive vibes in a custom, gold-and-white gown by Ada Aziza. When she celebrated her birthday this March, PJ stunned again in another look from the luxury kids' label — and this gown had a flowing, gilded train. (It's only natural that the dress would ooze such sophistication since PJ is now 2!) And for the little Georgia peach's birthday party, the couturier came through again with two custom dresses. In mid-May, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mama dropped a slew of photos from PJ's March birthday party. The fashionably late pictures were worth the wait, as they offered a peek at the toddler in some irresistible couture that matched her party's "Baby Shark" theme. For her first look, the birthday girl wore a pink satin gown with puffed sleeves and a full skirt, which was printed with colorful sea creatures. PJ also added her own spin on the footwear, opting to wear just one white, ruffled sock. Later, the birthday girl did a quick outfit change. Her second Ada Aziza dress carried on with the aquatic theme. In an oceanic hue of blue, it was trimmed with ruffles and had sharks floating on its bodice. Mind you, it wasn't only PJ whose outfit saluted sea life. Porsha wore a "Mommy Shark" tee, and PJ's dad Dennis McKinley wore the "Daddy Shark" companion shirt.
