Ted Nugent is coming to the York State Fair; Here’s how to get tickets

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A rock star will take the stage this summer to help close out the York State Fair.

Ted Nugent will help close out the 2024 York State Fair when he performs at the Grandstand Stage on Sunday, July 28 at 8 p.m.

The York State Fair kicks off July 18 and has many other well-known artists performing on the Bobcat of York Grandstand Stage. A full list of them can be found below:

  • Kane Brown, along with Dylan Schneider, will be opening for the York State Fair on Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m.

  • Breaking Benjamin with New Medicine will be at the fair on Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m.

  • Lainey Wilson with special guest King Calaway will be at the fair on Sunday, July 21 at 8 p.m.

  • Jon Pardi will be with Drew Parker at the fair on Monday, July 22 at 8 p.m.

  • Ludacris, along with DJ Infamous, will be on the stage at the fair on Friday, July 26 at 8 p.m.

  • Halestorm, along with I Prevail, will kick off their performance July 27 at 6 p.m.

Nugent has been rocking since the 1970’s and he has released many of hits, such as “Stranglehold,” “Cat Scratch Fever” and “Fred Bear,” among others. He was first a member of a band called the Amboy Dukes before he decided to pursue a solo career.
