Tayshia Adams is used to being on reality TV, but nothing like Amazon Prime Video’s The GOAT.

The reality star won the first competition of the series, making her the GOAT for the day, which also came with much power. She had to choose captains for the elimination challenge and cast the tiebreaking vote, sending her friend, Joey Sasso, home first.

“Competition is a totally different game,” Tayshia told People, saying she wanted to show “how strategic and smart” she was on this show. However, she admitted that winning the first challenge likely “put a target on my back.” She continued, saying, “I didn’t think that was going to happen. On [the] Bachelor, you kind of want to make your first impression known, and that’s where I came from with that. But if I did it again, maybe I would’ve just gone out second or third, because I had a target on my back.”

Tayshia would prefer to film The Bachelorette over The GOAT any day

As we mentioned above, Tayshia had to cast the first tiebreaking vote of the season, sending The Circle’s Joey packing. Although she seemed to get on with the decision, she revealed it was more challenging for her than it seemed. “I started crying. I was not OK with that,” she said. “It was tough. I’ve been through some pretty heartbreaking goodbyes and tough decision-making, and I was not expecting that to be on my first night.”

The second episode saw Tayshia in a bit more trouble. She had to battle it out against her Bachelor friend, Joe Amabile, who was on the chopping block for elimination next to her. Eventually, she was sent home and told People she wasn’t ready for the past-faced environment of competition reality.

“I’m like, ‘Oh, it can’t be that bad,’ except for I’m crying on every episode,” she said. “I thought this was going to be the easy show! But I’m not going to lie. I would probably be Bachelorette again.”

However, she left with many new friends and a great memory to hold onto.

“I earned a lot of friendships from the show,” Tayshia said. “Truthfully, I don’t know if any of our paths would’ve crossed. This was the perfect show to make some connections with people that I wouldn’t have been having the opportunity to do before.”

Watch The GOAT on Prime Video every Thursday.
