So, are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce going to the Met Gala 2024? If you have been on Tayvis's internet in the past 24 hours, you probably have some questions, so we have compiled every single clue and source comment here for ease.

In case you need a refresher about what the Met Gala is, it's fashion's biggest night! Traditionally held on the first Monday of May, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and congregates celebs from all walks of life. This year's Met Gala falls on May 6, and while the guest list is usually kept under wraps except for the co-chairs (this year's are Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Anna Wintour), there always is some chatter about potential invitees. Case in point: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Much like the case with Coachella, fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are wondering if the star couple will make their way to the Met stairs to dazzle us with their best fashions. On March 19, TMZ reported that Swift and Kelce would be skipping the Met Gala 2024. According to sources' comments, Kelce had declined his invitation as Swift couldn't make the event.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce won't make their big debut at the Met Gala because they're passing on soaking up the spotlight at fashion's biggest night,” TMZ wrote in its report, which made many online speculate.

However, on April 29, Page Six reported Swift would be attending the Met Ball, as per a source, though Kelce was yet to decide if he'd tag along. It's not unlike celebs to make their red carpet debut at the Met. However, it is worth noting that the last time Swift attended the Met Gala was in 2016.

Just a few hours after Page Six published its report, People published its own counter-report claiming Swift would be skipping the Met Gala 2024 to focus on preparing for the upcoming European leg of her Eras tour, which kicks off on May 9, just three days after the ball, in Paris.

Now, while we know Swift has made tighter trips work before — she famously jetted off from Japan to Las Vegas to attend the Super Bowl — this does seem like the most plausible option for us. On April 2, Kelce also confirmed he would be making his way to Europe to support Swift while on tour, so it would make sense for the duo to skip the fashion festivities this time around.

That said, we won't know for sure until May 6, so tune in!
