(WJW) – Being a Taylor Swift fan could actually be life-saving!

The American Heart Association took to Instagram Thursday to announce that “The Tortured Poets Department,” the titular track on Swift’s newest album, is actually the perfect tempo for Hands-Only CPR, which is 110 beats per minute.

“A double album!?! 🤯 So double the chances for songs with lifesaving beats!?! ✌️,” the caption of the post said. “If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911, then push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of “The Tortured Poets Department.” Thanks, @taylorswift!”

It is widely known that the Bee-Gee’s song “Stayin’ Alive” is also a great reference song for hands-on CPR. It was even used for CPR in the hit sitcom The Office in the season five episode titled “Stress Relief.”
