Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson, Chris Jones To Give Striptease For Charity In ‘The Real Full Monty’

Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson, NFL’s Chris Jones and several other male celebrities are about to bare it all in the name of charity.
The male celebs will be a part of Fox’s The Real Full Monty, which is a two-hour special airing this Fall raising awareness for prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer testing and research. In the midst of it all, viewers will be treated to a striptease by the famed faces.
In addition to Anderson, Diggs, and Jones, Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek) and Bruno Tonioli (So You Think You Can Dance?) will join them in the entertaining philanthropic effort. But, in order for viewers to witness the striptease, they’ll have to watch until the end.
According to EW, viewers will witness the men “push their limits of comfortability, modesty, and brotherhood” by going through reigns of “experiences aimed to boost their confidence, challenge their comfort zones, and strengthen their bond as a group.” The band of men will also share how cancer has impacted their personal lives.
“Don’t die of embarrassment. Get checked! That’s the message behind The Real Full Monty special,” Anderson, who’s also EP, stated to the outlet. “I am honored to lead the charge of rallying these fearless men to bare it all, in order to provoke, inspire and, in this case, beg you to get screened for cancer. That’s our goal… so what are you waiting for?”
According to Prostate Cancer Foundation, Black men in the United States are more likely to be diagnosed with and to die from prostate cancer versus men of other backgrounds. The research foundation recommends that Black men get screened between ages 40 and 45, and depending on their health status, annual screenings should be strongly considered. One in eight U.S. men will be diagnosed with the disease.
The forthcoming charity striptease special was influence by the 1997 comedy, The Full Monty, where a group of unemployed men give a Chippendales striptease to raise funds for their friend. Fox announced the the show as part of its upcoming 2024-2025 programming schedule.
The Real Full Monty has yet to receive an air date.
