The holiday feasts of Christmas have long since been digested, but it's time to loosen those belts again for an even bigger spread of culinary creations.

With 614 Restaurant Week kicking off on Monday, foodies of all flavors will have the opportunities to sample a smorgasbord of scrumptious sustenance.

The annual event, which runs through Saturday, will feature more than 150 local restaurants serving three-course meals — including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options — ranging from $15 to $50.

In addition to devouring delectable dishes, food fanatics can enter a giveaway in which 10 lucky winners will receive dinner for two at one of Restaurant Week's participating locations. A grand prizewinner will get a two-night stay at The Acres Cabins in Hocking Hills.

The giveaway also gives back to the community. For every entry, a quarter will be donated to On Our Sleeves up to $5,000. On Our Sleeves is a movement that supports and advocates for children's mental health.

Here are a half-dozen of the participating eateries and a sampling of the epic edibles they'll be offering:

Alqueria, 247 King Ave.

This longtime 614 favorite will be dishing up delicacies such as buttermilk fried shrimp highlighted by green onions, honey and gochujang aioli, red wine-braised short ribs with herb mascarpone potato puree and crispy Brussels sprouts and salted caramel creme brulee. The meal costs $40 per diner and is available as dine-in or carry-out.

At last year's 614 Restaurant Week, the tres leches cake was a big hit at Alqueria, where this year's offerings promise to be just as palate-pleasing.
