Tara Lipinski can't get enough of Mother's Day celebrations this year!

On Monday, May 13, the Olympic champion, 41, shared adorable images alongside her daughter Georgie, 6 months, in celebration of Mother’s Day. Lipinski shares Georgie with her husband, Todd Kapostasy.

"We did it Georgie girl. You gave me the title of mama….finally," the former athlete captioned the post.
"Georgie, you are the best thing I will ever do. The pics that we just snapped sum up what I love most about our days together."

She added, "It’s the simple and routine moments filled with so much magic. A lazy morning of watching you giggle and play while I drink my coffee or a warm cuddly nap after an ocean dip. This is what I’ve been waiting for. I love being your mama….my greatest role yet."

In the post the NBC sportscaster also wrote a heartfelt tribute to her daughter and their first six months together as mother and daughter.

"Today is about mothers but really all I can think about is you," she continued. "I feel so much pride that YOU did it. YOU came into my life. YOU are the one I am celebrating today. And now that we know your spirited soul we should have realized there was no way you weren’t making it earth-side. Gigi you are magic."

"Mother’s Day reminds me of my greatest wish- to be the best mommy I can be to you. I love you Gigi💞," Lipinski added.

She also took an opportunity to honor her 6 embabies and 4 pregnancies that she carried.

"I wonder often who you would have been but know that Georgie is making you all proud as our rainbow baby," she wrote. "To all the mama’s in waiting, I see you today. I still can feel that awful ache if I think back too much. I’m sorry this day hurts for you, it doesn’t feel fair but please know I am rooting for you."

In October, Lipinski announced that she had welcomed her first baby after revealing her long journey to motherhood in her podcast Unexpecting.

"I dreamt about this for so long," she told PEOPLE. At the time, Lipinski shared that she was excited about everything mothering a newborn has to offer. "A crying baby, sleepless nights. Even when I'm like, 'Okay, take an hour nap,' I'm almost too excited. I'm like, 'She's there. Just watch her a little longer.' "

"It's the best tired I've ever been," Lipinski added.

At the time of Georgie’s arrival, she and her husband also opened up about their newborn and their decision to be so open about their journey and their bond with their surrogate.

"I loved the surrogacy journey, I really did," said Lipinski, who looked into the fertility option after experiencing four painful miscarriages. "I had so much trauma around pregnancy," she shared. "Something just clicked where my outlook changed and it became less about me and my experience. It wasn't about the pregnancy anymore."
