Tammy Slaton Wows Fans with Unfiltered Screenshot of FaceTime Call with Psychic Friend

The '1000-Lb. Sisters' star shared an unedited selfie, much to the delight of her fans

Tammy Slaton shared an unfiltered screenshot of a FaceTime call with her friend, psychic Haley Michelle, on Instagram late Sunday —  much to the delight of her followers.

“You [look] absolutely gorgeous Tammy!!!!!!” shared one commenter, while another wrote, “Girl looks awesome. I’m so pleased for Tammy to be living her best life!”

And yet another chimed in, “Tammy! You look fantastic! So proud of you.”

The 1000-Lb. Sisters star had recently been criticized for posting heavily filtered selfies, prompting Slaton, 37, to speak out in defense of her photo edits.

“I keep seeing everybody say, ‘Stop using filters, stop using filters,’” the reality star said last August in an Instagram Reel, which she captioned, “Over this stupid filter bull crap.”

“Listen, I am not trying to be rude, but it’s my profile,” the TLC star said. “And if I like using the filters, I will. And if you got a problem with it?”

She waved goodbye.

“Plain and simple, like, it’s my profile. If you’ve got a problem with it?” she repeated, before waving goodbye again and shrugging.

She went on to explain why she uses a filter to edit her social media posts. “I don’t like the colorization in my cheeks. All the spots from the sun and the freckles,” Tammy said, pointing to her cheeks.

However, in her FaceTime call, Slaton skipped the filters for a natural look while she spoke to Haley Michelle, a self-described “paranormal princess” that Slaton has featured on her social media accounts before.

Back in January, Slaton and her sister, Amy Slaton, joined the psychic for a Hocus Pocus-themed video as they strutted through the Willard Public Library in Evansville, Ind.

The Willard Library is allegedly haunted — there are even webcams which allow visitors to the website to virtually hunt for ghosts in the various rooms — and according to Michelle's social media profiles, she is a psychic medium and paranormal investigator.

It’s not clear if the Slaton sisters are hiring Michelle to do some paranormal investigating for them — or just hanging out, but as Slaton shared in her Instagram stories, “I can’t wait to see you again my sister,” prompting Michelle to reply, “See you soon.”

And Slaton teased, “Stay tuned” — so perhaps the sisters will adding some ghost hunting to their schedules.
