Have a talent? Show it off on April 27!

Apr. 10—GREENSBURG — Do you sing, dance or play a musical instrument? Maybe you're a mime, an impressionist or a magician? Regardless of what you're good at, you're invited to showcase your particular skillset by participating in "Decatur County's Got Talent," an upcoming fundraiser for the Community Healthcare Clinic of Decatur County.

The event, which is sure to be a fun-filled night for performers and audience members alike, is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start on Saturday, April 27, at Community Church of Greensburg, 1427 W. Vandalia Road.

There is no entry fee, and Decatur County residents are invited to participate in one of four groups: 5 to 12, 12 to 18, 19 and up, and professional.

There's still time to get involved, but the deadline to do so is fast approaching; a video of no more than three minutes should be submitted to dcgt24@gmail.com no later than Monday, April 15. (Note: This email address differs from the one that appeared in a previously published Daily News story. If you submitted an audition video to a different email address you should resubmit it to the one listed above.)

Clinic board member Amy Schoettmer reports that some audition videos have already been received, but encourages everyone with an interest to submit theirs as soon as possible.

Three judges from outside the county will review the submissions and choose finalists to appear at the April 27 "Decatur County's Got Talent."

In addition to the performers in the spotlight, desserts and light hors d'oeuvres will be served, and during intermission Nashville recording artists Clayton Anderson and Breanna Faith will share their talents.

Tickets for the event are $30 for individuals and $200 for a table of eight.

To purchase tickets or make a donation toward new dental equipment, contact Schoettmer at 812-651-6006, Brenda Emsweller at 812-593-1036, or Linda Weigel at 812-614-1776.
