After months of speculation, British singer Cheryl Cole has confirmed that she is expecting a child with One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne. Cole and Payne have known each other for years, since she was a judge when he first auditioned for the U.K. version of the singing show in 2008 at the age of 14. Payne found himself single around the same time when he split from his longtime girlfriend Sophia Smith in October 2015.
