Try not to cry This one got us. During a memorial for DMX on Saturday, one of the late rapper’s young children took the stage and performed a song of her own that we’re pretty sure would’ve made her father proud. Even better… she apparently wrote it herself. “I’m growing, I’m learning to hold my head, my daddy’s still holding my hand so I gotta stand up,” she rapped confidently. NEW YORK (AP) — Rapper DMX was ordered confined to his suburban New York City home Friday by a judge who said he repeatedly violated bail conditions on tax fraud charges.
DMX was arrested and charged with tax fraud, with the rapper accused of "engaging in a multi-year scheme to conceal" $1.7 million from the IRS.
DMX must be a pro in the delivery room. The rapper became a father for the 15th time when he and his longtime girlfriend, Desiree Lindstrom, welcomed their first child together on Friday, August 19, in New York City. Per TMZ, the baby boy is named Exodus Simmons and weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces.
DMX was just released from jail in Buffalo the other day, but instead of heading out of the area, it looks like he decided to stay around…. and cook some food at IHOP. In the photos posted by TMZ, DMX is seen behind the grill at the restaurant and he even put on a name tag—although we can’t really tell whose name is on it. Before you get your hopes up that DMX is working there, let’s be clear: the report states that he was simply so impressed with his meal that he went back to the kitchen and thanked the chef. This isn’t to say that we’re against a DMX-run pancake house though, because that sounds pretty promising.
