Bill Nye the Science Guy has been under fire lately for possibly not really being a science guy. Nye has taken a strong stance on things like climate change, and people who disagree with him have been questioning his credibility. So during his visit to “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Nye defended science cred.
Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! If you grew up in the ’90s, you knew that whenever your science teacher rolled out the TV cart, it was time for an episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy! Well, Bill is back and saving the world with his new Netflix series, Bill Nye Saves the World! SuperFan TV got the chance to sit down with Nye to discuss the show and how we could join his quest to save the world.
In recent years, science’s good name has been dragged through the mud, but Bill Nye — formerly the Science Guy, now Science Man — is here to rescue us all. Such as President Elect Donald Trump’s pick to run the EPA, Scott Pruitt, claiming, “Scientists continue to disagree about the degree and extent of global warming and its connection to the actions of mankind.” Bill Nye, an advocate for climate science, agrees with the 97% of the world’s scientists who avow that climate change is very real and likely caused by mankind’s actions. The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.
