Symphony of the Mountains presenting “The Unicorn’s Birthday” this weekend

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Symphony of the Mountains is back with another show this weekend, with performances all across the region.

“The Unicorn’s Birthday” is an all-ages show with the aim of introducing children to symphony music.

Rick McVey and Sheila Armentrout joined Good Morning Tri-Cities with all the details on how to enjoy the family-friendly show.

The show will play at several schools in the region, but families can attend a special performance on Sunday.

The family performance is May 5 at 3 p.m. at the Toy F. Reid Eastman Employee Center in Kingsport.
