Sydney Sweeney’s acting coach, Scott Sedita, claims that the “Euphoria” star is a “serious actress” after being slammed by producer Carol Baum.

“Sydney is beautiful because she has inner depth, intellect, compassion, style and facial features — eyes, smile, cheekbones — that the camera angles pick up on,” Sedita told TMZ. “The camera loves her ‘look’ … Audiences love her because she’s relatable and approachable.”

“She’s been through the ups and downs of this business,” he continued.

“So you have to be pretty much a serious actress if you’re gonna go through all that. When taking feedback or critique, she processes it, uses her acting technique and makes the adjustment.”

Sedita’s comments of support come after Baum, 81, said the “White Lotus” alum “can’t act.”

“She’s not pretty, she can’t act,” Baum reportedly said after a screening of the 1988 David Cronenberg film she produced, “Dead Ringers,” at the Jacob Burns Center in Pleasantville, New York, last week. “I don’t get Sydney Sweeney.”

Baum’s assessment of the 26-year-old’s acting ability came after watching Sweeney and Glen Powell in their steamy film “Anyone but You.”

“I wanted to know who she is and why everybody’s talking about her,” Baum reportedly told the audience before saying that the film was “unwatchable.”

“I said to my class, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot,'” the USC professor continued. “Nobody had an answer.”

Despite the unflattering remarks, Baum admitted that she would still work with Sweeney on a project.

Several of the “Immaculate” star’s fans have chided Baum for her remarks.

“Hollywood producer Carol BAUM, who looks like this, criticizes Sydney Sweeney, saying she isn’t pretty,” a person posted on social media.

“God give me the confidence of top Hollywood producer Carol Baum who said this of Sydney Sweeney,” a second person added.

Sweeney’s reps later told The Post it was “shameful” for Baum to say things like that.

“How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman,” a spokesperson for the two-time Emmy nominee told The Post.

“If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms. Baum’s character.”

Baum reportedly regrets making the comments.

“She wishes she never would’ve made her original comments,” a source told TMZ, “and that crapping on an actor like that in public usually isn’t her style.”
