Supermodel and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, 29, was asked to cover up while trying to board a flight with her sister.
American Airlines employees asked Olivia to "put on a blouse" before she could get on the plane.
Olivia's sister Aurora posted the entire conversation on Instagram, and fellow passengers were shocked.
Hell hath no fury like the Culpo sisters delayed on their way to Cabo.
Supermodel Olivia Culpo, 29, and her sister Aurora jetted off to Mexico Thursday, but not without a little drama. Olivia was dressed in what I’d call a pretty normal outfit, a black cropped top, high-waisted bike shorts, and an oversized cardigan. Airplane or gym chic, I’d wear it myself!
But not so fast. Airline workers called the model up to the desk to tell her she needed to “put on a blouse” before flying, according to Aurora, who reported live on Instagram from the scene. I have a few immediate concerns:
1) If you’re using the word "blouse," then you’re probably already in the wrong. OR you’re my 84-year-old grandmother, who—let’s face it—is often on the wrong side of history. (Sorry Nanny!)
2) Who on God’s green earth tells Olivia Culpo—a professional gorgeous woman and former Miss USA, to cover up?
Aurora, it would seem, agrees with me. “Is that not so f*cked up!?” she said on her Instagram Story. “American Airlines, I love you so much please get me to Cabo but what?”
After Olivia’s toned stomach was sufficiently covered with an oversized men’s sweatshirt, the sisters spoke to other passengers, including the star of this story. Blink and you might miss her but don’t, because this woman is all the comic relief I needed.
Also dressed in a cute set (girls—where are we buying these? I want one), was another woman en route to Cabo. She was shocked Olivia was asked to cover up, adding, “my titties is out and they didn’t say anything.” They most definitely were, and you looked great, queen.
The Culpos eventually made it to Mexico, so I can rest easy.
