The fun isn’t over yet. Bravo just announced that Summer House has been renewed for its ninth season following its highly successful Season 8. Everyone on that cast should be thanking Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. If it weren’t for their engagement blowing up (and everyone knowing about it ahead of the season airing) would this have even been possible?

The news of Summer House’s renewal came via Bravo’s The Daily Dish. They said there’s no need to “get activated” because another round of Summer House is coming. Thank goodness.

Did Lindsay and Carl save the day?

In a world of Scandovals and Reality Von Tease exposés, we reality TV fans have a huge appetite for scandal. After a few lackluster seasons of Summer House, the show was on life support. An epic breakup is just what the doctor ordered, and it delivered. We all knew Carl and Lindsay would call it quits this season, but the way we’ve all fluctuated between Team Linday and Team Carl has truly been a unique viewing experience.

Realistically, it hasn’t just been Carl and Linday’s drama that has kept the lights on at Summer House for another season. Bravo finally got it right with newbies West Wilson and Jesse Solomon. If they don’t come back for Season 9, Bravo has made a huge mistake.

Then, there’s Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula who are basically like Mom and Dad of Summer House. You hate it when they fight, cringe when they kiss, and celebrate with them when they get it right. Their relationship seems to get increasingly complicated as they get older, so it will be interesting to see where we find them in Season 9 — assuming they’re both a part of it.

The announcement of Summer House’s renewal comes amid the NBC upfronts, where they announced a whole slew of programming news for Bravo. In addition to Summer House getting the greenlight for Season 9, a ton of Real Housewives shows got officially renewed. Plus, Bravo confirmed that two brand-new series would be coming to the network next year. The bottom line is: it’s a good time to be a Bravo fan.

TELL US – ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO SUMMER HOUSE SEASON 9? DO YOU THINK SEASON 8 WOULD HAVE BEEN SUCH A HIT THIS YEAR WITHOUT THE LINDSAY AND CARL DRAMA?
