Suki Waterhouse Gets Real About New Motherhood While Posing in Disposable Postpartum Underwear

Suki Waterhouse recently entered her “fourth trimester”—and she wants to talk about it.

After giving birth to her first child with partner Rob Pattinson, the 32-year-old actor, model, and musician got honest about her postpartum journey on Instagram, sharing a series of selfies in a triangle bra, an oversized gray cardigan, and a high-waist pair of disposable postpartum underwear by the brand Frida. Of course, she still looked like the off-duty model, on-duty mom that she is with a bottle in her hand and her hair down in ’70s-inspired shaggy layers, complete with thick bangs.

“The fourth trimester has been… humbling,” she captioned the photos. “The postpartum period has been filled with exhilarating joy, so much laughter, tears, soo many hormones! I’m proud of everything my body has achieved and proud of the kindness and grace I’ve given myself during this recovery period. 💕”

This post comes just a few days after Waterhouse announced the birth of her newborn with an Instagram captioned, “Welcome to the world.” Waterhouse and Pattinson likely welcomed their child sometime last month, as the couple was first spotted walking with a stroller around LA toward the end of March. Neither actor has shared any further details about their child.

Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson have been linked since 2018, though they didn't make their red-carpet debut as a couple until December 2022 at the Dior fall 2023 menswear show in Giza, Egypt. While she had sparked pregnancy rumors in October 2023, she didn't confirm the news until a month later, when she was onstage at Corona Capital Festival in Mexico. You know, like a true rock star.

“I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” she joked while dressed in a sparkling minidress and boots, per fan videos. “I’m not sure it's working.”

Luckily, it seems like their baby arrived in time to attend their next big milestone.
