CHICAGO — Stephen Colbert is bringing his “Late Show” to downtown Chicago in August.

Cobert announced on Wednesday’s episode that during the week of the Democratic National Convention, he’ll be broadcasting his show from the Auditorium Theatre, 50 East Ida B. Wells Drive.

“I lived in Chicago for 11 years and it holds a special place in my heart, and not just because of all the Polish sausage that’s still lodged in my aorta,” Cobert joked.
