"Hey Alexa. Play 'Bring Back My Girls' by RuPaul."

It's that time of year again. Time to get up in that "All Stars gig" (although Alyssa Edwards is actually on The GOAT this year rather than on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars). Mama Ru has invited back eight of her favorite queens from seasons past to duke it out for a coveted spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame and a cash prize of $200,000. Only for Season 9, things are operating a bit differently. This time around there will be no eliminations with the eight returning drag queens competing each week for wins. AND they'll be competing for charity rather than for their own bank accounts. Yes, ma'am, the coin will be heading to the winning queen's charity of choice in an effort to make the world a better place. The new season premieres on May 17, 2024 only on Paramount+.

But before we look forward, we have to look back. The eight returning queens, Angeria Paris VanMichaels, Gottmik, Jorgeous, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo have each competed before (some twice), but have never won. Now they're back for rudemption!

Ahead of the premiere, Parade got the opportunity to speak with the newly minted All Stars and asked about their proudest moments from their previous seasons. Here's what the queens of All Stars 9 said were their biggest accomplishments from seasons past:

The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9 queen's proudest moments

Angeria Paris VanMichaels - The Girl Group Challenge

"Oh, that's easy. The '60s girl groups challenge. I got to be a part of the RuPremes. The Supremes are RuPaul's favorite girl group of all time, and Diana Ross just so happens to be my spirit animal. Off camera, what you didn't see was RuPaul sharing her top five Supreme songs with me because we're both Supremes fans and I shared mine with her. It was a special moment. I'll never forget that challenge. It was fun to do, but it was also so fun to impress RuPaul with her favorite girl group of all time."

Gottmik - The Little Black Dress Runway

"I'm really proud of my little black dress runway. I remember being like, 'I need to have a moment where I show my top surgery scars and just be naked and show trans guys in all their glory, in drag nonetheless.' And I was able to go out there and be fully naked on national television, which I was just so proud of."

Jorgeous - The Roast

"Honestly, not gonna lie, I was pretty proud of the roast, even though it did get me eliminated. I was really proud of myself, how I made the jokes, and also the look. Plus the best lip syncs of the season were for me, so that's something that I'm also really, really proud of."

Nina West - The Makeover Challenge

"I'm proud of my elimination honestly. I loved that runway. I got eliminated on the family makeover challenge. We had returning queens, and I had to makeover [Shuga Cain]. I went more conceptual, and I did like the community idea of family. And everyone did like twins, or sisters, or mother and daughter. I was like, 'That's very drop Drop Dead Gorgeous,' which I love. But I'm really proud of that. I'm proud of how I stayed true to myself."

Plastique Tiara - RuPaul's Walk Through

"I'm very proud of my win with Alyssa [Edwards] and speaking my story, telling my story to RuPaul. I think that episode was very special to me."

Roxxxy Andrews - The Runway Confession

"Oh my god, honestly I'm most proud of sharing my story on the runway. It's helped so many people that have had kind of similar instances. To know they're not the only one out there, to stay strong and to know that a gay family is just as important as a real family, means a lot."

Shannel - The Juggling Runway

"The juggling moment from Season 1 really hit home for me, because it was very unexpected. And I was proud of it. The judges did not like it, actually. They said it was too circus-y. But, you know, for Season 1, there was nothing to gauge yourself off of. I feel like it stood the test of time."

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo - 'Miss Vanjie'

"Well in big terms, the 'Miss Vanjie' moment, but personally it would be the Britney Spears worship televangelist. Yes. That one I was like, 'Oh bitch, I had slayed that one.' But overall, it would be the 'Miss Vanjie' walking backwards, even though I don't know what happened. It took off."
