From Cosmopolitan

Today in “Is nothing holy?” Starbucks announced they’ll be offering new limited-time-only specialty drinks and bags of whiskey coffee. Well, the announcement was made Monday (per FORTUNE) and it’s not whiskey coffee so much as it is coffee made from beans aged in whiskey barrels.

Before you get excited, know that (1) any actual alcohol that would be transferred to the beans is burned off in the roasting process and (2) the drinks and beans are only currently selling at Starbucks’s Seattle Roastery for now. According to the company’s press release, the 'bucks beans are “hand-scooped into freshly emptied American Oak-Aged Whiskey Barrels” from a local Washington distillery. It then takes weeks and lots of rotating to ensure the whiskey flavor is fully absorbed into the product.

CNN Money reports the Roastery’s two specialty drinks are a vanilla-syruped cold brew and a hot “con crema” also made with vanilla syrup, finished off with sugar and foam. Both are made with the barrel-aged beans. It's unclear how long these products will be available.

If you need me, I’ll be … drinking.
