You would think that Ina Garten has tried pretty every dish and drink out there. But during an upcoming episode of Be My Guest with Ina Garten, the cookbook author and TV host host spilled the tea, or more appropriately the gin, on one particular cocktail she's never had. And we have to admit, we're a bit shocked.

While speaking with Stanley Tucci, the guest for the episode, Garten revealed that she's never had a "real" martini before.

"And I thought oysters go with martinis, right? So I made Oysters Rockefeller for you. But first let's make a martini. Can I tell you a secret? I've never had a martini in my life. Seriously. So this is my first. I've had a lot of cocktails, but I've never actually had a real martini," says Garten in a clip of the show shared by People.

A shocked Tucci swiftly responde with, "You gotta get out more."

For those who'd like to mix up their own Tucci 'tini, the actor uses 3/4 oz. of white vermouth and 2 oz. of gin to make Garten's martini. He then garnishes the cocktail with both a lemon peel and an olive.

"That's gorgeous. That's totally gorgeous. I thought it was gonna be sheer alcohol and it's not," says Garten after taking her first sip.

As People reported, Tucci recalls "getting served his first martini at New York's Café Luxembourg, which Garten is familiar with."

"I used to go there all the time when I was painting apartments to make money or I was working in restaurants to make money," he says. "I would go, on the weekend—I would save up some money—and I would go sit at the bar and had martinis and eat the free, hard-boiled eggs... and that was my dinner."

The Be My Guest with Ina Garten episode featuring Stanley Tucci will premiere on March 5 on Food Network and discovery+.
