London design school Central Saint Martins hosted its annual BA Fashion graduate show to an audience of fashion connoisseurs and a front row that included music icons Madonna and FKA Twigs. Madonna's son Rocco Ritchie enrolled in a Fine Art course at CSM back in 2018, while, according to CSM, Twigs' stylist Matthew Joseph previously attended the art school, studying BA Fashion Womenswear.

The show saw a budding display of 115 talented students across womenswear and menswear, fashion design, print and knitwear. Each student presented three looks each, with only one set to win the L'Oreal Professional Young Talent Award 2022. The award winner was decided by a panel of experts that included Business of Fashion CEO Imran Ahmed, designer Kiko Kostadinov and his Co-Creative Director Deanna Fanning, L'Oréal Professionnel Catherine McMahon and BA Fashion Course Leader Sarah Gresty. Alice Morell-Evans was this year's winner, praised for her eclectic knits and cowboy-esque designs.

Alongside the work of Morell-Evans, the showcase put on a dizzying display of 345 looks from students across various disciplines, with designs ranging from minimal and modernist to expressive and avant-garde. Standout designers included the likes of Gary Youcheng Wang, Emil Dernbach and Ran Tao.
