“Bluey’s Big Play,” based on the Emmy Award-winning Australian animated preschool series “Bluey,” will be coming to Owensboro at 6 p.m. July 11 at the RiverPark Center.

This will mark the series' first live theatrical adaptation in the United States that will feature puppetry, live actors and iconic sets. Based on an original new story written by “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm, “Bluey’s Big Play” will also contain new music by the show’s composer Joff Bush.

The stage show enjoyed much success in its home market of Australia, premiering in the title character’s hometown of Brisbane and went on to be performed 447 times across 65 venues, including the Sydney Opera House.

The stage show is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay, in association with Windmill Theatre Co.

Tickets will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. May 3 at the RiverPark Center box office, 101 Daviess St., and online at ticketmaster.com.
