Sources Claim Hugh Jackman’s Worrying Behavior May Have Something to Do with His Breakup

For some time now, fans have been worried about Hugh Jackman after his odd social media posts of random objects, selfies, and cryptic comments. Many people wonder if he’s okay, and insiders claim this odd activity may have something to do with his separation from Deborra-Lee Furness.

Inside sources recently told InTouch Weekly that Jackman may be having a bit of a crisis after he and his ex-wife Furness separated.

“He’s clearly trying to get attention, but it’s coming off as strange and unprofessional. If Deb were around, she’d never let him embarrass himself this way,” the source said. “He doesn’t seem to have the time for his old crowd and they feel they’ve been ditched right along with Deb.” While the comment may seem more mean-spirited, the root of the issue is that many are worried that he’s isolating from his pals.

The source added, “He tells people he’s thriving — and to his credit he has managed to get out there and enjoy a few dates and have plenty of fun — but his behavior is still pretty odd and erratic these days. Between the self-obsessed social media posts and the fact that he’s started partying with people half his age, it’s sounding alarm bells for a lot of his old friends.”

Now, how does this all lead back to his split? Apparently, she helped him relax and not be erratic, as insiders say. “Everyone knows she kept him on the straight and narrow. Now the concern is that he’s struggling a lot more than he’s letting on,” they said.

For those who don’t know, Jackman and Furness married in April 1996, after meeting on the show Correlli the year prior. They adopted two children named Oscar Maximillian, born in May 2000, and Ava Eliot, born in July 2005. Sadly, they called it quits after 27 years together, and separated in Sept 2023.

We just hope everyone is doing the most with their mental health and working on self-care during this new time.
