The narrative of this drama revolves around Jin Soo-Ji’s (Hahm Eun-Jung) life story. She is a celebrity psychiatrist with a traumatic past and a rather disturbing stepfamily. On the other hand, there’s a rookie doctor, Chae Woo-Ri, who is kind and compassionate and is known for his witty behavior. So far, they have only bickered, but ever since Han Hyun-Sung’s (Soo-Ji’s love interest) entry, it seems a new emotion is unlocking between them. Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 22: Hahm Eun-Jung’s house gets sold
Jin Soo-Ji has a huge debt to clear because of his father’s business scam. When Han Hyun-Sung tries to talk to her about helping her, she says, “It’s my problem that I have to solve.” Soo-Ji even learns that the director and chairwoman of the hospital are Hyun-Sung’s (Shin Jung-Yoon) parents. This creates a distance, and the viewers feel a problem might be brewing between them.
On the other hand, to get the money, Soo-Ji visits banks and even sells her car. Other family members also collect money from wherever possible to help Soo-Ji and her father in the situation. In the meantime, when Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul) hears about not having her personal room in the new house, she throws a fit once again. Then, Jin Na-Young goes to the broadcasting office, asking for another chance at her MC position. But it gets declined again, leaving her full of regrets.
Feeling disgruntled, Na-Young approaches Chae Woo-Ri for drinks. But he declines it, saying he cannot accept her feelings for him. Hearing this, Jin Na-Young agitatedly asks if it is because of Jin Soo-Ji that he cannot accept her, leaving him speechless. Does this mean he has feelings for Soo-Ji?
