Soft Swerve, a New York City ice-cream shop, is serving purple soft serve, and it's almost too beautiful to eat.

While the purple confection gives off major unicorn vibes, it's actually made with ube, a yam from the Philippines that some people think tastes like white chocolate.

The shop opened in December and it's owned by two childhood friends, Michael Tsang and Jason Liu, who quit their corporate jobs to open Soft Swerve. Their ice cream cones have been all up in your Instagram feed ever since.

Their most popular confection is the ube soft serve topped with Fruity Pebbles and marshmallows. People also get it plain or with sprinkles.

They also have a matcha flavor.

And then there's black sesame, which tastes a lot like peanut butter.

Unlike some Instagram food trends that look great but might not be delicious, I can confirm that all of these flavors are as good as they look.
