Simone Biles is getting the Netflix treatment!

The most decorated gymnast of all time is set to be featured in Simone: Rising, a four-part series airing on the streaming service beginning this summer, according to a Netflix press release.

The production will follow the 27-year-old athlete's quest, or her "unfinished business" — to return to the Olympics this summer, after taking two years off from competition following the Tokyo games.

"Her courage to soar knows no bounds as this summer she plans to return to the Olympic stage once again to do what she’s always done — be the best Simone that she can be," a logline from Netflix reads. "Because through it all, Simone still rises."

Following a bout of the “twisties” in Tokyo, the athlete stepped away from the mat as she dealt with her mental health. During that time, she also enjoyed personal highs, such as her marriage to NFL safety Jonathan Owens in 2023.

“Simone has put in the hard work: facing the difficult traumas in her past, learning to manage her mental health, embracing her journey, and in the process, rebuilding her gymnastics from the ground up,” Netflix said of the series, which is broken up into 45-minute-long episodes.

Netflix also announced two other sports series.

Sprint will follow top sprinters as they race to the Olympics, while a series on men’s Olympic basketball will premiere next year.

Sha'Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles and Shericka Jackson are among the athletes highlighted in Sprint, whose first season documents the track stars on the road and throughout the 2023 world championships. Season 1 debuts in July.

The basketball series, which will premiere in early 2025, will follow hopefuls from around the world as they face off in the Paris Olympics, and will offer behind-the-scenes glimpses at the competition, and "the story of how the game of basketball became so globally competitive will be explored through generations of legends,” per Netflix.
