DILLON THOMPSON: Apparently, these sheet pan pancakes are the future of breakfast making. This viral recipe hack is supposed to help you make crazy multi-flavored pancake squares without ever having to touch a pan or spatula. This recipe has is supposed to be faster, more photogenic, and somehow even tastier than traditional pancakes. But is it really all it's cracked up to be? To find out, we're going to make a four-flavored sheet of pancakes using this hack and see if it really is up to snuff. Let's do it.

OK, this recipe hack is actually really simple. To make these bad boys, we're going to start by turning our oven to 425 degrees, and in the meantime, mixing a ton of pancake mix, following the instructions in the box to get all the proportions right. Once we get that ready in a bowl, we're going to put some aluminum foil over the top of our giant sheet pan and then fold in all the pancake batter we can to fill the entire sheet pan evenly.

Then you can put any toppings you want on top of this thing. We tested this out starting with chocolate chips, bananas, blueberries, and strawberry-flavored square pancakes. Once the toppings are ready, you just throw this bad boy in the oven for 15 minutes that you can cut into gigantic squares, drizzle with a ton of syrup, and get ready to eat this thing just like you would with a regular circular pancake.

So now that our pancake sheet is ready, it's time to test this thing on two points of criteria, taste and convenience. First up for taste, I'm going to try all four of my flavor quadrants that I made with our sheet pan pancakes. First up, chocolate chip.

Oh my goodness. It's so big, fluffy, tall, delicious pancake thing. Honestly, the texture is better than regular pancakes.

Time to try another one. We have banana pancakes. Oh my. OK, now blueberry pancakes. Oh my goodness. So, so good. Any of the fruit flavors and toppings you put in here with the sheet pan style, they mix together so well. It's so easy.

The last one I'm going to try, strawberry pancakes with strawberry syrup. Oh my goodness. That was a flavor overload. We are definitely giving this a 5 out of 5 for taste. All four of our flavors were impeccable. And honestly, the texture in the taste was better than what I'm used to with regular circular pancakes.

Next up, convenience. Here we had to give this recipe of 5 out of 5 too, because it was so easy to do, and it made a ton of pancakes. I could be eating pancakes for the rest of my life off this one attempt if I wanted to. And the best part is I didn't have to mess with a skillet, which for me is normally a gigantic problem when I'm making pancakes.

OK, so we've tallied up our scores and for one of the first times in Tried It history, this recipe hack is receiving a perfect score as a 10 out of 10. Congratulations for the sheet pan pancakes, but most of all, congratulations to me, because I have what looks like a lifetime supply of Pancakes to eat, and I'm going to start eating it right now.
