Serena Williams Shocks Fans as She Expertly Puts on Lashes in the Back of a Car: 'Can You Do This?'

The tennis star showed off her impressive skills in a new TikTok

Serena Williams has some serious makeup skills.

On Monday, the tennis champion, 42, shared a TikTok video showing off her ability to apply false lashes while in a moving car.

“You know me… casually putting on lashes in the car,” Williams wrote in the caption. “Can you do this?”

In the clip, the athlete is seen seated in the back of a car while she uses a mirror and pair of tweezers to flawlessly apply a set of false eyelashes before winking at the camera.

Viewers responded with an outpouring of praise for Williams’ skills.

“There is nothing you can’t do!” one TikTok user commented on the post. “Go girl!!”

“Doing your lashes in the car is a super power,” wrote another.

While undoubtedly impressive, Williams’ actions in the video also raised valid concerns among fans. “So scary!” one TikTok user commented. “Great skill but what if they have to slam on brakes?”

“You’ll poke your eye out!!” said another. “We need you girl.”

Divisive or otherwise, Williams hasn’t shied away from sharing her beauty hacks. In February, she opened up about her skin care routine in a makeup-free video posted to her Instagram Story.

​​“Okay so this is clean face look,” she said to the camera, calling attention to her mascara smudging. “So I have a little dark circle here because of that.”

Williams then turned her head and pointed to the three dabs of cream on her face.

“And we’re gonna have some spot removal here,” she said. “But otherwise,” Williams continued before laughing and remarking French "Comme ci, Comme ça" ("like this, like that").

Earlier in February, the tennis legend shared a photo of her on-the-go makeup look via Instagram.

“Eyebrows and tinted moisturizer completes my natural ‘on the run’ day look,” her caption read alongside a photo of her rocking a natural makeup look.

Williams has also shared her self-love journey with fans. In February, five months after welcoming her second daughter, Adira, with husband Alexis Ohanian, the athlete opened up about the ups and downs of postpartum in an Instagram post.

Along with a photo of herself in a two-piece bikini holding her newborn daughter, Williams said, "Loving yourself is essential. I find that I have to remind myself of that self-love through all different stages in my life. Right now I love that my body is not picture perfect.”

She continued, "I love that I smell like milk — that milk sustains @adiraohanian I love getting to know a new version of my body. It is a change, but it’s a change that has been well worth it. So start this week, knowing that you are loved, and that starts with you. Ok, now I’m about to go to the gym 🤪 Serena.”

Williams and Ohanian also share a six-year-old daughter, Olympia.
