Selena Gomez Is Riding Horses With Friends and Living Her Best Life

Some people end the day with a glass of wine. Selena Gomez, meanwhile, did something a little more grand and picturesque to unwind yesterday: The singer went horseback riding with her friends Raquelle Stevens and Anna Collins. Both Stevens and Collins documented their sunset ride, one Gomez dressed impeccably to go on. The singer wore a rainbow patterned jacket with jeans and big hoop earrings.

She also mused in her friend Collins' Instagram about how much she loves horses. "I think horses are the most beautiful of creatures," Gomez said. Must be nice to end a Wednesday so tranquilly.

This is a deviation for Gomez, who has publicly been photographed biking, hiking, leaving workouts, and going out to restaurants in the past, but never really doing anything particularly equestrian.

Gomez marked her return to the spotlight after taking a break this fall to focus on her mental health with a snow tube trip with friends. Her friend Connar Franklin shared the first clear shots of Gomez on the trip, wearing a Reputation hoodie for her friend Taylor Swift.

A source told E! at the end of December that Gomez is really prioritizing her health right now. "She's been spending time with her friends and family and just getting back into her normal routine," the source explained. "She's healthy and feeling a lot happier."

Gomez is "focused on her physical and mental well-being and is conscious of the things she needs to do to stay healthy," the source added. "She has a routine that involves working out, eating healthy and therapy sessions. She is surrounding herself with her best girlfriends and positive influences in her life. She's happy to be back home and seeing friends again."
