Selena Gomez Makes a Head-Turning Cannes Entrance in Custom Oscar de la Renta

Selena Gomez looked every bit like a Hollywood starlet making her entrance at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Shortly after touching down in the South of France on Friday, the star was spotted leaving the legendary Hôtel Martinez in a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. The figure-hugging navy-blue dress featured a sultry off-the-shoulder fit combined with a plunging neckline made of black ruffled fabric. Gomez completed the classy ensemble with a selection of sparkling diamond rings, black pointed-toe pumps from Santoni, and a teeny-tiny black patent leather handbag to match.

Gomez brought the glamour to her beauty routine, too, wearing a pink blush, dewy highlight, and the ultimate French-girl touch: a swipe of bold red lipstick. She styled her shoulder-length black hair parted down the middle in bombshell waves with curtain fringe, and topped off her look with a radiant smile.

Earlier in the day, the Only Murders in the Building star went shopping on the Rue d’Antibes in an equally chic look. In photos taken outside the Mango store, Gomez channeled classic Riviera style in a white knit minidress from Self-Portrait that included a row of gold buttons, a peplum waist, and a pleated skirt.

On the accessories front, she wore a pair of black and white Roger Vivier slingback pumps, circular hammered-gold earrings, and retro white-rimmed sunglasses. The star also carried a white woven top-handle bag and wore her hair slicked back into a neat bun. If her last two looks are anything to go by, Gomez will have plenty more head-turning moments during her time in Cannes.
