Five months since going public, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are going strong despite having a long-distance relationship at the moment.

Following fan speculation, the 'Only Murders In The Building' actress confirmed her relationship with Blanco, whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin, in December 2023. They made their first red carpet-appearance together at the 2023 Emmys in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Despite being on opposite ends of the country, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's relationship is still going strong. "They are so in love," an insider told PEOPLE. "It’s a very serious relationship, and they’re making long-distance work while she’s in New York for work commitments."

Gomez is in New York City, where she recently attended a launch event for Rare Beauty's new Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush. She is also filming her Hulu series, 'Only Murders in the Building.'

"Benny makes her feel special, and they try to see each other as much as possible," the source added. "She really does feel like it’s the best she’s ever been treated by a guy, and she’s had a certain glow since they started dating."

Blanco is set to release his cookbook, 'Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends,' later this month, and he says Gomez can't wait to try some of the steak recipes.

"She's a huge steak fan. So anything that has steak in it," he told TalkShopLive. He also revealed that Gomez loves pasta and "always asks for these little, perfect fried potatoes."

On March 8, the 'Wizards Of Waverly Place actress' shared a series of photos on her Instagram to wish her boyfriend a happy birthday.

The photos and video included ones of her and Blanco kissing, hugging, and enjoying a date night at the Disney Parks.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1's New Music Daily, the 'Only Murders In The Building' actress said she admires Blanco and feels extremely safe in her relationship with him.

"Without getting into too much detail, I think it's just really important to meet someone who respects you," she said. "And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel, and it's been really lovely, and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome."

She added, "To kind of feel really happy in my life and actually mean it is so, it's just like you can tell in my video. I'm just smiling the whole time. It's such a good feeling."

Gomez was referring to her new music video for her new single, 'Love On.'
