Besides the Baahubali star, the Prashanth Neel directorial starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Easwari Rao, and more. As fans are eagerly waiting for the movie’s sequel, Salaar 2, rumors are rife that Kiara Advani will play the leading lady.

Kiara Advani to star in Salaar 2?
According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, Kiara Advani is not a part of Salaar 2. A source revealed that the actress’s name was never on the cards to play the lead in the upcoming sequel. The insider added that the movie’s cast has yet to be disclosed. Seeing the first installment’s long, star-studded list of actors, the sequel is expected to be even grander. Moreover, most of the cast will reprise their respective role as the story will continue where it left off in the 2023 movie.
For the unversed, Salaar 2 is officially titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. The first movie was about two friends who become the most significant enemies set against the backdrop of Khansar. Meanwhile, where the sequel will lead regarding Prabhas’ character has yet to be revealed.
On the work front, Kiara Advani was last seen playing the lead opposite Karthik Aaryan in Satyaprem Ki Katha. She is set to make her Telugu debut with the upcoming movie Game Changer. The Ram Charan starrer is expected to be out in a few months, as promised by its producer. Moreover, her name is also making rounds for Yash’s upcoming movie Toxic. But an official announcement is yet to be made. She also has two forthcoming Bollywood projects, Don 3 and War 2.
