Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan’s romance has been heating up in recent months, but are they astrologically compatible?

The “Nonsense” singer and Saltburn actor first sparked dating rumors in late 2023 and have given several glimpses of their relationship since then. After stepping out for a handful of date nights in Los Angeles, the two made their red carpet debut as a couple in March at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.

Since then, Keoghan has proven he’s Carpenter’s No. 1 fan, supporting her at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, where she served as the opening act, and left flirty comments on her social media posts.

Recently, PEOPLE spoke with astrologer and bestselling author Lisa Stardust, who analyzed both Carpenter and Keoghan's birth charts to predict their overall compatibility.

Born on May 11, 1999, Carpenter is a Taurus, while Keoghan, born on Oct. 18, 1992, is a Libra. With both of their sun signs being ruled by Venus, Stardust points out that “a big part of their connection is that they like to find pleasure in life,” adding that they’ll “always seek out fun and want to make memories.”

Read ahead for a deep dive into what the stars say about the couple’s blossoming romance, based on Stardust’s readings.

Stardust points out that both Carpenter and Keoghan’s sun signs are ruled by Venus meaning they’re “highly creative individuals who enjoy discussing art and collaborating on projects.”

As a result, Stardust adds that “a big part of their connection is that they like to find pleasure in life, whether that be by indulging in a fine meal, going shopping together, watching movies at home, or getting a glass of champagne together.” Because Venus rules their signs, they’re more likely to “seek out fun and want to make memories that last," Stardust says.

According to Stardust, “Sabrina's Venus in Cancer loosely connects with Barry's Moon in Cancer,” which indicates they share “a strong emotional foundation.”

“This combination is considered one of the best indicators of love in astrology charts because the moon represents our emotions and personal lives that we keep hidden, while Venus allows these elements to be expressed,” Stardust notes.

With that in mind, Stardust posits that the duo “will always show affection towards each other and have a deep admiration for one another.” Not only do they share a strong bond on a familial level, but they share many interests, including “foods, movies, and jokes that bring joy to them.”

“Barry’s Mars, which is the planet of action, aligns with Sabrina's Venus, which is the planet of pleasure, so they are always looking to spend time together,” Stardust says, adding, “They are each other's ideal partner.”

Despite having opposing Mercury signs, with Carpenter’s being Taurus and Keoghan’s being Scorpio, Stardust says the couple “share strong opinions and can work through differences to connect and join forces through mutual understanding and kindness.”

“The alignment of Pluto with his North Node of Destiny indicates that their relationship will help them grow and evolve together, forming a lasting union built on trust, understanding, and love,” Stardust continues, noting that “their caring nature towards each other is reflected in their gentle words and actions.”

When it comes to their respective careers, Stardust says the two will always “seek ways to help the other evolve.” Stardust attributes this to “Sabrina's Uranus is Aquarius, which is associated with innovation and change, noting that “Uranus is in conjunction with his Saturn in Aquarius, which represents structure.”

“They are constantly searching for unique scripts that can help advance their careers and push them to become better,” Stardust says.

When it comes to finances, Stardust adds that the two “share a common trait of being financially responsible.” With their Venus both being in water signs, with Sabrina's Venus in Cancer and Keoghan’s Venus in Scorpio, Stardust says they have a “tendency to save money for emergencies,” adding “they strive for financial stability, while also contributing to charity and humanitarian efforts.”
