So About That Rumor That Kris Jenner Is Going to Be Pete Davidson’s New Manager…

So as anyone who has even *slightly* kept up with the Kardashians already knows, Kris Jenner wears a lot of metaphorical hats. She’s the family matriarch/proud mama bear of six. She, like the rest of her v famous fam, is a reality TV star. She’s basically a pro at offering gossipy-but-still-on-brand tidbits about her kids on the talk-show circuit. And that last one goes hand in hand with her being the manager for many members of that v famous fam of hers. And considering the massive success of almost every member of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kris is clearly good at what she does.

That’s why when rumors started circulating earlier this week that Kris was taking over managing duties for Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson, the goss seemed pretty plausible. According to Us Weekly, the rumor can be traced back to a TikTok video posted by Morgan’s Pop Talks podcast host Morgan Paige.

“Kris Jenner might be managing a new celebrity client. When I tell you, I am shook to the core,” she teases in the video before sharing a clip from her podcast of a guest saying, “Our sources are saying he’s going to be joining with Kris Jenner.”

To be fair, there were some reasons to think that this could maybe be true, like the fact that Pete did recently break away from his management company, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, according to a report from Deadline plus previous reports that Kris has taken over managing duties for some of her kids’ other S.O.s, including Travis Scott and Kanye West. Oh, and then there’s the adorable bond Pete and Kris have, as evidenced by the gorgeous Mother’s Day bouquet he gifted her:

But alas, this rumor is just that, apparently. On Friday, a source close to Kris officially denied the report, telling Us Weekly, “Kris is not Pete’s manager.” (FWIW, the outlet also noted that multiple sources said Kris has been giving Pete some business advice, “just not in an official capacity.”)

So there you have it. Pete and Kim have *not* gone Shared Momager Official with their ’ship.
