Rose to present 'Beauty and the Beast' this weekend

Apr. 23—Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Drama Club will present "Beauty and the Beast" this weekend at the Hatfield Hall Theater stage. Performances are planned for 7:30 p.m. Friday, 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Students whose acting, singing and dancing talents are featured in the show include Mackenzie Hunt as Belle, Mason Reynolds as the Beast, Eric Sparks as Gaston, JT Emke as LeFou, Noah Blankman as Cogsworth, Aron Murnane as Lumiere, Maggie Witt as Babette, Sarah Allen as Mrs. Potts, Joci Faubert as Madame de la Grande Bouche (the Wardrobe), Lila Ward as Chip, Jonas Fleenor as Maurice, Frank LaMantia as Monsieur D'Arque, Dustee Forster as the Enchantress, Mindy Altschul as a young prince, and Lainie Lawrence, Camille Clark and Julia LaSala as the Silly Girls. It is directed by Trevor Hanson.

The show's technical staff features Michael Compton as technical director, Jessica Becker as costume designer, Patti Willey as choreographer and Anthony Dinkel as lighting designer.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for attendees under 18 years old. Every patron must have a ticket, regardless of their age.
