There have been several budding romances developing on General Hospital, and the April 16, 2024 episode featured beginnings and ends for some couples.

Romantic Gestures

Love struck the mob in this episode as Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) made romantic gestures for their impending partners. First up was Brick, who arrived at Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) office offering her a bouquet of her favorite flowers and dinner. After some chat, Brick got called away on business before they could go out, which only left Jordan wanting more.

At Sonny’s office, Ava (Maura West) arrived to have dinner with Sonny and Avery (Harper and Presley Carlson), but since their daughter had fallen asleep, it was just the two of them alone to enjoy dinner and discuss Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) refusal to sign Sonny’s divorce papers.

Two Couples’ Fates

Meanwhile, at Deception, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) found Maxie (Kirsten Storms) face down, screaming into her office floor over her frustration with everyone, including Spinelli (Bradford Anderson, who recently gave fans some insight into Spixie’s relationship status). She confided in her mom her uncertainty about dating Spinelli again and her fears of hurting him despite him being her true love.

During a random meeting in the park, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) got a talking to from Trina (Tabyana Ali), who asked if they had learned anything from what she’s had to go through with losing Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). The two decided to try and remain civil for Trina’s sake, and Joss once again begged Dex not to risk his life by joining the PCPD.
