May is here, which means the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Guac on The Rock campaign.

However, this year, the initiative is being extended for the entire month of May instead of just the first week.

“We’re back again baby, this year with FREE GUAC with your @TEREMANA cocktails!!” the superstar wrote on Instagram Wednesday morning. “#GuacOnTheRock is bigger than EVER. For the ENTIRE month of May – get paid to eat guac and enjoy Teremana.”

Here’s how it works: Johnson’s tequila brand will reimburse you for guacamole, up to a million dollars, when you purchase guacamole with any Teremana Tequila cocktail.

Just head to guacontherock.com to find a participating restaurant, order your drink and guacamole, submit a photo of your receipt and you will get reimbursed through Venmo.

You must be 21 and over to participate and a resident of the United States.

The initiative began in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a way to encourage consumers to support the country’s hospitality industry, which had taken a massive blow. It also coincided with the People’s Champ’s birthday on May 2 and Cinco De Mayo.

In 2020, the “Red Notice” actor, Jenna Fagnan, Ken Austin and Dany Garcia founded Teremana, an ultra-premium, small-batch tequila.

“It is crafted at Destilería Teremana De Agave in the highest peaks of the Jalisco highland mountains,” according to the brand’s website.”Its name loosely translates as ‘spirit of the earth,’ from the Latin word ‘terra,’ meaning earth, and the Polynesian word ‘mana,’ meaning spirit.”

Teremana also describes itself as “the tequila of the people.”
