Rock band Bush announced as headliner for 2024 California State Fair

(FOX40.COM) — The California State Fair announced a third music act for its 2024 concert series.

Rock band Bush will take the stage for the Toyota Concert Series at 8 p.m. on July 24.

Fairgoers can attend the concert series for free with fair admission, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis behind the general admission seating area.

Fair guests can buy reserved seating for the concert series for $25. Ticket presales will begin Wednesday followed by a general sale on Thursday.

“Bush’s legendary status in the rock world makes them a perfect fit for our concert series,” California State Fair and Cal Expo CEO Tom Martinez said in a statement. “We are proud to present them on the Golden 1 Stage, promising our fairgoers an unforgettable rock experience.”

The band recently released their first greatest hits collection “Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023.” The compilation album includes 21 songs from the band’s 30-year career.

Rapper Flo Rida and country singer Chris Young were announced as the state fair’s first two performers on Monday.

Lineup announced for 2024 Concerts in the Park

More performers are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.

The California State Fair will take place from July 12 through July 28.

Daily admission for the fair is $16 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62 and up, and $10 for kids ages 5 to 12. Tickets could be bought in advance with a $2 discount.

Children ages 4 and under can get into the fair for free.
