In truly 🥺 news, it sounds as though Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough have only deepened their connection after the two settled their court battle over Priscilla’s late daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s estate.

“Riley and Priscilla are at peace in their relationship after the very stressful ordeal over Lisa Marie’s trust and estate,” a source revealed to Us Weekly back in May 2023 before adding, “There was a lot of back-and-forth, but they reached a middle ground that makes them both happy.”

A refresher: In January 2023, the Hollywood Reporter initially released a story revealing that, prior to her passing, Lisa Marie claimed she “had very little or nothing left of her inheritance from her father” Elvis but *did* own his Graceland estate, his personal effects, and a significant stake in his intellectual property rights, which the outlet noted “may generate future revenue for her heirs in the form of postmortem book deals and movies.”

Riley and her sisters, 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley, inherited Graceland from their mother…but things got complicated in January 2023 when their grandmother Priscilla Presley reportedly filed a petition to challenge her late daughter’s will. The main article that was contested in the petition was a 2016 amendment that replaced her as a cotrustee with Riley and her late brother Benjamin Keough.

Thankfully, in late May, both Priscilla and Riley came to a settlement, according to a CNN report. The outlet included a quote from Priscilla’s attorney Ronson J. Shamoun to Judge Lynn Scaduto at a court hearing in Los Angeles that read, “The parties would like to report that they’ve reached a settlement.”

At the time, Priscilla opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her feelings on the matter, saying, “My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie’s untimely passing. Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter. As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together.”

“My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever,” she concluded. ❤️
