Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man’ drops trailer for Netflix feature coming in May [WATCH]

Netflix on Thursday dropped a new trailer for the new Richard Linklater-directed feature “Hit Man,” co-written by and starring Glen Powell. Linklater and Skip Hollandsworth – the journalist upon whose Texas Monthly article the film – also contributed to the script that follows a straitlaced professor who moonlights as a fake hit man for his city police department. “He meets his match in a client who steals his heart and ignited a powder-keg of deception, delight and mixed-up identities.” Adria Arjona stars alongside Powell. “Hit Man” debuted at the Venice Film Festival las summer and later played to enthusiastic response at the Toronto International Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. The film is set to debut in select theaters on May 24 and over Netflix on June 7.
