A new report states that Jacob Fatu is no longer set to debut during the WWE Draft.

As previously reported, Jacob Fatu was expected to debut on WWE television this week, possibly as early as the April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown. Friday’s show marks the opening night of the WWE Draft, so some surprises are expected. Fatu was rumored to be one of them.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Jacob Fatu is not slated to be at WWE’s television tapings this week. Johnson writes that there is a plan in place, but creative for The Bloodline is laid out in a meticulous manner. The report cites a source who notes that there is no rush on Fatu’s debut.

Jacob Fatu, a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, wrapped up with the company earlier in 2024. He told others that he had signed with WWE ahead of WrestleMania 40, per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Fatu is a real-life member of The Bloodline. Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa are his cousins. He has often commented on potentially joining the on-screen stable.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
