We all have Kyle Richards to blame thank if this pans out. Kyle was recently asked to name her dream castmate on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her definitive answer was Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin. “The Baldwinitos” live in New York, but Kyle said she mentioned it to Alec anyway.

Hilaria (born name: Hillary) gained recognition for marrying and having a gaggle of children with Alec. She’s also infamous for chasing fame and concocting a Spanish origin story and suspicious accent.

Now that there’s an Annemarie Wiley-shaped hole in the RHOBH cast, would Hilaria take her place? Allegedly, she’s very open to it.

A source: RHOBH “the perfect fit” for Hilaria

Hilaria and Alec have had a chaotic few years. On top of welcoming seven kids together, Alec’s spent a lot of time in court. He’s being retried for involuntary manslaughter for the accidental shooting death of Rust cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins. If found guilty, he’s facing up to 18 months in prison.

Alec and Hilaria have toyed with the idea of reality TV. However, a source says Hilaria’s worried about losing the spotlight if Alec goes to jail, according to The National Enquirer via Radar Online.

A source said, “Hilaria is terrified of losing all the attention she’s gained as the wife of a Hollywood star if he’s away in prison. This would be the perfect fit.”

Allegedly, Hilaria and her kids were recently spotted exploring Los Angeles.

The insider added, “She loves being the center of attention. This is a win-win for her, especially if Alec winds up cooling his heels behind bars.”

The source also believes that Hilaria’s history of bending reality might come in handy.

“She created a whole false narrative about herself as a Spanish aristocrat a couple of years ago, even faking a Spanish accent though she was born and raised in Boston as Hillary Hayward-Thomas. She’s made for reality TV!”

Hilaria hasn’t commented on the rumors.

Hilaria’s a pretty polarizing figure. There’s even a whole Subreddit devoted to (usually justifiably and hilariously) roasting her. Perhaps Kyle casting Hilaria is a strategic move to stay out of the hot seat?

At any rate, Hilaria’s probably Googling, “how do you say ‘you stole my g*ddamn house?’ en Español” and plotting how to out-accent Dorit Kemsley as we speak.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills streams on Peacock.
