"It's Friday night, and the mood is right!"

If you grew up sometime in the 1990s, chances are your Friday nights kicked off with that jazzy jingle ahead of your favorite TV night of the week, which might have been complemented with some freshly delivered Domino's and the coziest spot on the couch.

TGIF was a family-friendly programming block of beloved ABC sitcoms including Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step, Boy Meets World, Perfect Strangers, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and Sister, Sister, among others that rotated in and out of the lineup through the late '80s and '90s.

And for a time, the shows kicked off with a little intro featuring the song below (via @carrie.leslie on TikTok) and a preview of the night from one of the series' stars.

While many of the beloved show's stars have since left acting, several have reunited through the years at various 90s Con events around the country, with the stars of Boy Meets World, Step by Step and Full House coming together most recently to share memories with fans in Connecticut. (The cast of Step by Step even led the audience in the singing of "Happy Birthday" for TV dad Patrick Duffy.)

Though the days of TGIF are long gone, many of the shows are still available for streaming on various platforms, and cast members of several have kicked off rewatch podcasts, where they share set secrets and memories from their years of filming and conversations since.

In the meantime, "Gonna have some fun, show you how it's done, TGIF!"
