Rapper Jucee Froot indicted on drug charge in MS

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis rapper Jucee Froot has been indicted on a felony drug charge involving “magic mushrooms,” authorities in DeSoto County, Mississippi said Wednesday.

Terrica Alexander, 29, of Memphis, was a passenger in a GMC Yukon that was pulled over by DeSoto County deputies on Aug. 11, 2022.

According to the grand jury indictment, Alexander was in possession of 8.96 grams of psilocybin, also known as magic mushrooms.

She is out on bond and faces eight years in prison if convicted.

Jucee Froot is signed to Atlantic Records and has contributed songs to several television soundtracks, including “Eat Me” from HBO’s “Insecure” and “Down In The Valley” From “P-Valley.” She has 654,000 followers on Instagram and played the Beale Street Music Festival in 2022.
