Psychic Fails to Predict Her Future on ‘MasterChef’

Another round of amateur cooks battled it out for the chance to wear the sought-after white apron on MasterChef. One, in particular, had a pretty good feeling about her chances to get the white apron, because she claimed to be psychic. Neco, who is a manicurist from Detroit, said that some people would call her a psychic since she hears the voices of her ancestors. Going into the competition, Neco felt pretty comfortable because her ancestors supposedly told her that she was going to get a white apron.

Neco went up against three other contestants to see who could make the best shrimp and grits. The psychic manicurist made her grits with just water, butter, and salt, but Gordon Ramsay believes that grits should be made with a flavored liquid, like chicken stock. Unfortunately, Neco’s ancestors didn’t tell her that, because it was the reason she didn’t get a white apron.

MasterChef airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
