Prince William and Kate Middleton just changed their social media account *again.*

Earlier this month, when Queen Elizabeth II quietly passed away at the age of 96, the royal family faced several changes, including a new monarchKing Charles III—and title updates.

Two members who were affected by this were Prince William and Kate Middleton. At first, the pair extended their titles from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Cornwall. Then, they gained another new moniker: Prince and Princess of Wales.

The change was reflected on their social media accounts. Their new Instagram bio read, “The official Instagram account of The Prince and Princess of Wales, based at Kensington Palace.”

At the time, the couple changed their photo to the royal family crest (above). Now that the mourning period has concluded, they have reverted it back to a picture of the Prince and Princess of Wales (below).

The couple first received their Cornwall title because it used to belong to King Charles's wife, Camilla Parker Bowles (but now that she’s queen consort, she will no longer use that moniker.) Meanwhile, King Charles and his late ex-wife, Princess Diana, previously held the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales following their marriage in 1981 (and Middleton's adoption of the title marks the first time anyone has been ‘Princess of Wales’ since Lady Di's passing).

These new titles were bestowed upon Prince William and Middleton when King Charles addressed the world for the first time since ascending to the throne.

“Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales,” the king said. “With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations.”

He also addressed his other son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, saying that he wished them luck as they “continue to build their lives overseas.”

With the queen's passing, the line of succession has changed as well, with Prince William now first in the line of heirs to the royal throne, followed by his 9-year-old son, Prince George, who is second in succession.
